Getting to the island

Flights are to Corfu, and from there, you take a short ferry to the island (1-2 hours dependent on ferry company).

There are a few options for ferries to the island, and it is also possible to book a private water taxi which seat maximum 8 people and cost approx €450 each way, so are a good option for larger groups. These give more flexibility than the ferry schedule as they are 24hrs.

When flying from the UK, we find the best way to coordinate is to get a departing flight that arrives in Corfu by 12pm to allow enough time to catch the ferry in the afternoon.

If you have an afternoon flight on the way home, there are early morning ferries to Corfu from Paxos daily.

Ferries are €35 each way, and should be pre-booked.

The ferry providers are as follows, we have included some key tips for each, if you’re booking a villa or apartment via any of the travel companies listed above, they can also arrange ferries for you.

Ferry Hopper

Is a great way to book for Joy Cruises and Kamelia Lines; as their website will consolidate the options available for your day of travel, based on the season and day of the week.

Please note the ferry times to vary between week days and weekends, so it is best to book your ferry asap in advance to secure the crossing. Please allow 2hrs between landing at Corfu Airport and the ferry leaving incase of any delays.
